Updated: Oct 5, 2022

10/04/2022:

The crew awoke at 0800CST.

Daily Report:

Water Electrolysis

Mission Specialist Loy released gases from electrolysis. Due to a heavy EVA schedule, Cardiobreath, surveys, and general hab operations, the electrolysis study observations were paused for today.

EVA Operations

The last rendition of the mobility efficiency study was completed today. For the past week, EVA operations fill much of the crews time. Due to the length of the observation time (60 mins), in addition to pre- and post-EVA time, an EVA can absorb approximately 3 hours for a single analog astronaut. Utilizing a checklist developed by ARG-2i, the crew is able to perform EVA is minimal incidents/disruptions. The crew was able to successfully to execute four EVA observations. Additionally, the crew performed a training session with for the next series of EVA research. With the mobility efficiency research project complete the crew will redirect their efforts to another EVA study for contingency and self-rescue methods utilizing a very special crew member, K.U.R.T. #saveKURT
